What appears to be the second post-war reliability trial organised by the Victorian Sporting Car Club was run on the weekend of November 8th and 9th.
The directors were N. Taylor and L. Drill. It seems that the directors were also competitors!
The course was 201 mile to Cowes and back. It is likely that the results were primarily based on times on one or more sub-events, although penalties were no doubt applied for those who did not follow the trial course correctly. On the way back there was apparently a lot of water over the South Gippsland Highway.
The outright winner was Mrs. P. McCutcheon, navigated by her husband, Paul McCutcheon, in a Ford V8.
Those who completed the trial without time loss were Mrs. W. Wilcox, C. Taylor, Maurie Monk and R. Gray.
