1951 Midnight Trial

Story in The Age

The Midnight Trial, organised by the Victorian Sporting Car Club, was held on the night of July 7th and 8th.

It appears that the directors were Doug Whiteford and Reg Nutt.

The story in the Age indicates that only one car finished, with everyone else giving up or bogged.

The winners were therefore Frank Sinclair and Phil Irving in an MG TD.
