1959 Presidents Trial

The Presidents Trial was organised by CCRMIT and was held on Sunday September 13.

Directed by David Potter, the 1959 Presidents Trial was a club event run over approximately 120 miles in daylight, generally west of Melbourne around Melton and Ballan.

The event was won by Roger Abrahams and Michael Kennedy in a Hillman.

Route

The event started from the Melbourne Zoo. Route instructions were in the form of slips of paper handed out at each control, as was fairly standard practice in the 1950s.
