1965 Cooper Memorial Trial

The Cooper Memorial Trial,  organised by the Western District Car Club, was held on November 13.

VTC Round 6 – 1965 WDCC Cooper Memorial Trial

The long two day Cooper Memorial Trial was won by Harry Firth and Graham Hoinville in a Cortina GT,  securing them the state title. Watson’s Holden finished second despite towing McPherson’s Holden to the finish after differential failure, in order to clinch the team’s prize.
