1967 Alpine Rallye

The 1967 Alpine Rallye, organised by the Light Car Club of Australia, was held at the end of November (or perhaps early December).

1967 Alpine Rallye – Roberts/Haas again!

Tony Roberts and Peter Haas made it two in a row with their win in the 1967 Alpine Rally. The event was directed by Tony Theiler and ran mostly in East Gippsland.

Route

This edition of the Alpine did not go into the north-east of the  state but remained in East Gippsland. From the start at the LCCA Clubrooms in Queens Road, the competition started at Pakenham and ran via Whites Corner, Tonimbuk and across to Sale. The route then headed north into the mountains to Brookville and then along Angorra Range Road. Subsequently the event head back south through Cobbannah and to Briagalong.
