1967 George Derrick Memorial Trial

The 1967 Derrick was probably held in March.

1967 VTC Round 1 – CCRMIT George Derrick Memorial Trial

Mike Osborne joined Tom Cox as co-Directors of the 1967 Derrick. The event was won by Tony Roberts and Peter Haas in an HR Holden. Harry Firth and Graham Hoinville were second in a Mini Cooper S, the same car he used to win the previous year’s Gallagher 500!

According the report in Racing Car News,  several sections had to be deleted due to the introduction of a new Nagambie map that had a metric grid instead of a 1000 yard grid, yet it had the same serial number as the old map!
