The Presidents Trial, organised by the Car Club of RMIT and directed by David Lambie, was held in the forests around Powelltown on December 3.
As the last open event for the year, the Presidents attracted some classy entries including the previous year’s Victorian champion, navigated by Ian Baldock. But it was Rex Muldoon, with navigator John Page, who emerged as winners after Waterhouse lost 15 minutes with the car on its side.
