The B.P. Challenge of Clubs, organised by the Datsun Car Club of Australia, was held on 11 March.
While the event wasn’t part of any series, it was an inter-club challenge between the invited clubs: DCCA, HCC (Honda), CCCV, MCCA (Mazda), GCC & FFCC (Ford Four). The event comprised a motorkhana, a rally and a hillclimb.
The top male competitor was Jim Leppitt, the top female competitor was R Gould and the winning club was the organising club, DCCA.
