The Sunrise Rally, sponsored by Karinna Industries and organised by the Phillip Island Auto Racing Club, was held on 12 July. The event was directed by Warren Reid, assisted by Alan Campbell and held in the Strezelecki State Forest in South Gippsland.
VCS Round 5 – Karina Sunrise Rally – Billings/Ellis consolidate
The win to Billings and Ellis saw them take the lead in the Series from Jeff Marsh and become eventual series champions.
