The Bog-A-Duck Trial, organised by the Melbourne University Car Club, was held on 11 April.
After dominating the first two rounds, Portman and Runnalls had a rare DNF. The winners were Bill Bennett and Stuart Lister in a Galant with Mick Ellis/Jim Maude second and Bill Johnston/Chris Maniatakis third (who were also first in grade 2).
Grade 3 winners were Lindsay Dale/Helen McGinty and grade 4 was won by R Carter/G Price.
