The Swinburne 200, organised by the Swinburne Car Club, was held on 2 May.
This event was round 2 of the TAUCC series. Equal winners were Chris Kurz and P. Grossman with Brian Smith and John Birrell. Equal third were Ian & Ron Ward and David Mitchell with Greg Matheson. Steve Mitchell/Ron Brown were 5th and David McKenzie/David Officer 6th – a most unusual crew arrangement, with David Officer in the navigator’s seat.
Club results were SCC first with 5 points, MUCC 4, MSCC 3 and CCRMIT 2.
