The Eureka Novice Trial, organised by the Light Car Club (Ballarat branch), was held on 2 October. It wasn’t part of a series.
The event was close fought, with two crews, M Clarke and P Messer, equal 1st on 6 points and two crews, R Kennedy and R Brown, equal 3rd on 7 points. First grade 4 was B Thomas and N Brady who were also =5th outright on 8 points.
