The 1982 Victorian Trials Championship was closely fought with at least seven different winners across eight rounds! (We don’t have results for Round 6).
The main contenders were Bob Waterhouse and Paul Paterson, who emerged victorious, from Brian Smith and Peter Mignot, and Garry Harrowfield with Ian Ellis. Smith and Mignot won the Grade 2 Award narrowly from Barry Thompson and Keith Siler, who convincingly won the Clubman Award.
