The Four Pointer Trial, organised by the Ford Four Car Club, was held on April 18.
Directed by Andrew Roberts, the Four Pointer was held in the Murrindindis. With teh cancellation of the Summer Safari, it became the first round of the Trials Championship and was won by Chris Wall and Trevor Boyd
