The Noel Burley Memorial Trial, organised by the Melbourne University Car Club, was held on April 14.
Provisional results gave the win to Graham Wallis and Nick Wright who were the only crew to visit a particular via, but it was deleted at protest giving the win to the Clubman crew of Bill Johnston and John Wilkinson in a Mazda RX4.
The event was directed by George Davidson.
