The TCV Trial, organised by the Holden Motor Sports Club of Victoria, was held on 7 April. It was Round 1 of the Group 5 Series. Competitors included those from invited clubs FFCC, LCCA, CRBCC, VWCC, PIARC, MMALCC & MSCC.
The winners were S Beek and Robin Smalley in a Datsun, with Stuart and Helen Lister second (Lancer) and Andrew and P Martin third (Cortina). First grade 4 crew was N Symmonds and B Morgan in a Mazda.
