1985 George Derrick Memorial Rally

The Derrick, organised by the Car Club of RMIT, was held on September 21.

1985 VRC Round 5 – CCRMIT George Derrick Memorial Rally

After several years running as part of the Victorian Trials Championship, Director Simon Brown returned the Derrick to the VRC in the form of a daylight special stage event based around Heathcote. 

Yet another round and yet another winner, this time State Recognised (Grade 2) driver Terry Harris with navigator Bryan Oliver is their rotary engined Escort. David Jones and Peter Curtain finished third to consolidate their lead in the VRC.
