The Victorian Renault Trial, organised by the Renault Car Club of Victoria, was held on 5th and 6th October. Sponsor was Fairdale Motors.
The event incorporated the Chick Pfeifer Memorial Trial for Novice competitors. The Trial was a round of both the Combine 6 Series and the Combine Six Novice Series. The winners were John Brann and Doug Rose, with Greg Hoinville/Robin Smalley second and Grant Walker/Dennis O’Brien third. First novice was David Young and Wal Traylen.
Competitors were sourced from the following clubs: RCCV, FFCC, NCCA, TOCOAN, PCCV, VADC & CAC.
