The Distrial, organised by the Monash Sporting Car Club, was held on 29 November.
The Distrial was the final round of the 1986 TAUCC series. The winners were Ron King and Ken Ash from SCC in a “Dazda” with Trevor Woods/Daryl Williams second and Joe Brick/Susan Day third. First novice crew was Richard Campbell-Drury and Stephen Renshaw. The winning TAUCC club was Swinburne Car Club.
