1988 Borderland Safari

The Borderland Safari, organised by the North Eastern Car Club and directed by Bill Aggenbach, was held on May 7.

Victorian Trials Championship Round 2

Winners were Geoff Portman and Ross Runnalls in a Datsun 1600.

Detailed results

Route

The event started in Wangaratta and the first half ran in areas to the south through Moyhu and Toombullup before returning to Wangaratta for a service break. The second half head ed north east into the Barambogie Ranges and Mt Pilot Forests thence across to Killawarra before finishing at the NECC Clubrooms at Tarrawingee.
