1993 NEP Alpine Rally

The NEP Alpine Rally, organised by the AWDCC with the assistance of the NECC, was held on 3 July after originally being calendared for 27 March.

 The winners were Graham Alexander and David Stewart in a Mitsubishi Galant VR4.

Route

The event ran over 11 special stages totalling 121 km. The first stage was the Wodonga Stock Route followed by a short stage at Bonegilla. Then came seven stages in Stanley Plantation, making up the majority of the competitive distance. The event concluded with a short stage over Fell Timber Road and a quick blast through Albury’s Noreuil Park.
