The Mirboo Meander, organised by the Historic Rally Association, was held on 12 August.
The event was won by Alan Upton and Mark Laidlay.
The Mirboo Meander was created by Rob Dyer and was centered on Mirboo North, using the Grand Ridge Road and other great roads in the area, including those in the Darlimurla Pine Plantations. The 1995 event was the last one run by Rob with Ron Verschuur taking over and continuing to run them until Hancocks, a Canadian Company who leased the Pine Plantations from the Government, banned rallying from its areas. A particularly good Mirboo Meander was the one that started in Mirboo North but then continued on the Kangaroo Swamp area, North of Yarram, then finished at Traralgon.
The 1995 event went a little further than usual as it went to the Alberton East Forest.
