The Akademos was conducted by the Melbourne University Car Club and was held on October 19. The event was pace noted with recce on the Saturday.
Victorian Rally Championship Round 4
The event was won by Eli Evans and Glenn Weston in a Honda Civic Type R, but they were not eligible for VRC points. The VRC Heat 1 win went to Darren Windus and Jamie Sargeant in their Subaru Impreza WRX STi while Heat 2 went to Warren Lee and David Lethlean in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.
