2016 George Derrick Pyrenees Rush

The 2016 George Derrick Pyrenees Rush was organised by the Car Club of RMIT and was held on August 28. It was sponsored by Leechs Mitsubishi. Conducted around Avoca, the event was directed by James Elliott.

Victorian Rally Championship Round 3

With Darren Windus not competing, Arron Windus took the victory with Joe Brkic calling the notes. Will Orders and Toni Feaver took their Lancer to a victory on Heat 2 with Windus a mere 13 seconds adrift.

The event was to be conducted over 4 special stages, repeated morning and afternoon with a midday service in Amphitheatre. However, SS1/5 to the east of Avoca was cancelled.
