So how do you get involved?
Rallypedia is intended to be a rally people’s website. It’s all about the people and their stories but of course the events and cars as well.
While it started from an idea by David McKenzie, it will be successful only if Victorian rally enthusiasts make it theirs.
You don’t need to register to view content – just click and view. However, if you want to become a moderator, you’ll need to register and be approved. If you want to make a contribution, you can email contributions to email@example.com. But if you can contribute substantial material, you should register and we’ll provide information about how to upload it.
So its time to hunt through your rally archives, polish up your rally CV and put your best stories into writing to become part of Rallypedia, the history of car rallying in Victoria.
You can register an account by clicking here.
If you want to become a moderator, ensure that when you create your account, you add in the description that you would like to be one.
And please be patient – the website is still in its early stages of development and not yet “officially released”. There are still many pages to create, masses of data to upload and links to create. Suggestions for development and any other messages are welcome – use the CONTACT US facility at the bottom of every page.
