The Victorian Rally Championship was won for the second year in a row by Justin Dowell and Matt Lee in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6.5.
Australian Rally Championship
The Victoria round of the Australian Rally Championship was Rally of Melbourne. Victorians dominated with Scott Peddar (with Glen Weston) winning the first heat and Simon and Sue Evans the second heat to secure their first Australian title.

VRC rounds were the David Nutter, Cerberus Stages, Akademos, Bega Valley and two heats of the Rally of Melbourne.

2WD Champions: Brian Semmens / David Leoncini, Nissan 200SX
Clubman Award Equal:
