The Victorian Rally Championship was won by Mark Fawcett and Simon Ellis in a Subaru WRC STi.

In September many Victorians participated in the Red Centre to Gold Coast Trial, son by David and Kate Officer in their 1970 Galant.

Australian Rally Championship

There was no Victorian round of the Australian Rally Championship.

Victorian Rally Championship

VRC events in 2008 were the Cerberus Stages, East Gippsland Stages, Derrick, Murrindindi Magic and Akademos.

Outright Champions: Mark Fawcett / Simon Ellis, Subaru WRC STi.

2WD Champions: Andrew Taylor / Robin Smalley, Mazda RX7

Clubman Award: Ross Allan / Scott Allan, Hyundai Excel

Novice Award: Tony Moore / Nikki Moore, Hyundai Excel

Victorian Club Rally Series

There were 5 VCRS events this year. The appetite for joint VRC/VCRS events seemed to have disappeared.
