The Australian Rally Championship was won by Victorians Justin Dowel and Matt Lee in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. The Victorian round of the Australian Rally Championship was Rally Victoria.

Victorian Rally Championship

VRC events were the East Gippsland Stages, Bega Valley, Derrick, Akademos and Rally Victoria.

Outright Champions: Warren Lee / David Lethlean, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9

2WD Champion Driver: Rowan Woolard, Datsun 1600
Co-driver: Dan Parry (with Brian Semmens)

Clubman Award: Rowan Woolard / Ray Parry, Datsun 1600

Novice Award: Scott Wright / Tom Wright, Nissan Skyline R31

Victorian Club Rally Series

There were only 4 VCRS events this year.  Yackerboo was Round 1 but was cancelled due to low entries, then the Cooper Memorial was cancelled, leaving only 3 events. Subsequently the Marysville Stages was classified as two rounds (Heat 1 and Heat 2) in order to make the series viable.

  1. Bog-A-Duck Trial (with East Gippsland Stages) – Results in May Unicar (corrected points in June Unicar)
  2. Nissan Nightmoves – Results in June Unicar
  3. Marysville Stages Heat 1 – Results in Sep Unicat
  4. Marysville Stages Heat 2 – Results in Sep Unicar

HRA Rally Championship

This series was solely for members of the Historic Rally Association.
