The Eastern Trial, organised by the Victorian Sporting Car Club, was held on August 20th.
Five crews clean-sheeted the event and placing were then determined by a sub-event, which was a standing quarter mile sprint. Not surprisingly, Stan Jones was quickest in his Mercury.
