The Argus Women’s Trial, organised by the Victorian Amateur Drivers Club and sponsored by The Argus newspaper, was held on Sunday November 2nd.
Despite adverse weather conditions, there were 50 starters. The 130 mile course started at Burnley then went via Old Narre Warren, Upper Pakenham, Tonimbuk, Lyndhurst and finished at Clarinda. The event included sub-events to test driving skill and also a questionnaire on traffic laws!
