1953 Blue Ribbon Trial

The second Blue Ribbon Trial, organised by the Victorian Sporting Car Club, was held on Sunday June 20th.

Directed by Don Thomson and Maurie Monk, the event was won by Bob Foreman and J. McDougall in a Morris Minor,

The event started in Batman Avenue, which was to become a bit of a tradition. The controls were then roughly as follows:

  6. Cobaw from the NE
  7. Chintin
  8. Hesket
  9. Due W of Mt Aitken
  10. Melton
