This was the fourth annual Woman Drivers’ Trial conducted by the Light Car Club and sponsored by The Age.
The event was directed by Peter Ward and conducted over a 107 mile course around Kinglake, Yarra Glen and Hurstbridge.

It appears that there may have been a dead heat for outright honours between Miss H. Owbridge in a Morris Minor and previous winner, Mrs. E.F. Gardiner (navigated by her daughter, Ann) in an MG TC, both on 700 points.
