The Presidents Night Trial, organised by the Melbourne University Car Club with the assistance of the Car Club of RMIT, was held on May 12. The Directors were Warwick Hamilton, Chris Lake and Tom Swanson.
The event was won by Doug Rutherford and Miss E. Coffey.
Some explanation of the event was provided in May Unicar, including that the official map, Broadbents 222C North East Hill Country, was out of print and that entrants were requested to beg, borrow or steal one!
