1968 Australian Rally Championship

The inaugural Australian Rally Championship was conducted in 1968 across four states although the main competitors were from NSW and Victoria.

Winners were Harry Firth and Graham Hoinville in a Ford Cortina Lotus. They did not compete in the final round due to the London Sydney Marathon.

Series Regulations

Events were run under the new National Rally Code.

Vehicle eligibility was CAMS Group C – Australian Touring Cars, with additional requirements as per the NRC and state addenda.
