The North Central Trial, organised by the Castlemaine Car Club, was held on 1 February.
The event was won by Colin McKay and Bernie Peasley.
A bushfire at Fryerstown necessitated some quick maneuvering by the organisers to relocate the start location and re-route away from the affected area. The story may be found in the Auto Action article – see link at the bottom of this page.
