The CRB Novice Trial, organised by the CRB Car Club, was held on April 10 in the Warrenbayne plantation.

Winners were Frank Trouw and Paul Higgins in a Galant.

The winning novice crew were Kathy Armstrong and Lyn Taylor in a Datsun 1600.
