TAUCC Round 2 – 1977 CCRMIT Autumn Midnight Trial
The 77 Autumn Midnight was directed by Chris Maniatakis for the Car Club of RMIT. The event started with a number of route charted sections in the Spargo Creek pine plantation with several cars slipping off the road in the wet and slippery conditions. Straightforward map reading followed as the event used traditional roads in the Wombat Forest. Ian Richards and Kate Niblett ran out clear winners in their Datsun 1600.
