The Zodiac Rally, organised by the CRB Car Club, was held in the forests north of Bairnsdale on September 17. The event was threatened by very wet weather but some minor rerouting ensured that it went ahead.
The event attracted a classy field including Geoff Portman / Ross Runnalls but they succumbed to differential problems. It was Chris and Simon Brown who emerged as winners in the Datspares Datsun 1600.
