The Presidents Trial, organised by the Car Club of RMIT, was held on 29 November.

The Presidents Trial was once again directed by Simon Brown and ran in its now traditional area around Powelltown. For the first time the event was timed to the second.
Victors were Ian Swan and Mike Prendergast in a Datsun 1600.
