1982 Melton Djerriwarrh 200 Trial

The Melton Djerriwarrh 200 Trial, organised by the Melton Motor Sports Club, was held on 11 September.

The Djerriwarrh was round 7 of the Victorian Trials Series (Championship). The organisers were a Bamford family affair, with Dave director, Vicki assistant director and Karen secretary. Course checker was Noel Cuttler. Covering approximately 250 km of which 183km was competitive (not too far off the 200 implied by the event name). The course included forests near Taradale, Trentham and Daylesford.

The winners were Brian Smith and Peter Mignot in a Galant with a 20 point loss, with Bob Waterhouse/Paul Patterson (25) second and Gary Harrowfield/Ian Ellis (26) third.
