The Northern Mini Parts 200, organised by the Mini Car Club of Victoria, was held on 14 August. Directed by Hugh Vanable and John Tilbrook, this was a club event. Invited clubs included the LCCA, ANZBCC, MMSC, FCCV, M850G, MSCC & DCCA.
The winners were Rob Devenish and Helen Wylie in a Datsun 1600. Second were Stuart Lister/Helen Lister in a Lancer and third Noel Cutler/Brenda Skurrie in a Datsun 1600. First Mini was Andy Haines and Peter Johns. First grade 4 were David Plenderleith and Robert Pearce who were also a commendable 4th outright.
