The Myer City Centre Rally, organised by the Albury Wodonga District Car Club, was held on 20 October.

1984 VRC Round 5 – AWDCC Myer city Centre Rally

The winners were Geoff Portman and David McKenzie in a Nissan Bluebird, with David replacing regular navigator Ross Runnalls who was overseas. Second over 5 minutes behind Portman were Reynolds/Forrest, a mere 6 seconds ahead of David Adams/Chris Randell in third. The winner of the previous VRC round, Peter Thompson, failed to finish.

Grade winners were Adams/Sartori (State Recognised), Reynolds/Forrest (Clubman) and Humphris/Boyce (grade 4).
