1984 Regan Motors Summer Safari

The Summer Safari, sponsored by Regan Motors and organised by the Peugeot Car Club of Victoria, was held on 18 February.

1984 VTC Round 1 – PCCV Summer Safari

The winners were Chris Wall and Trevor Boyd in a Datsun 1600 with Peter de Vaus and Graham Wallis second in a Peugeot 404 and Rob Devenish and Phil Wylie third outright and first grade 3 in a Datsun 1600. First grade 4 and 4th outright were Graeme Palmer and Rod Beet in a Toyota Celica. There is some doubt about fifth outright at the results show Phil Nicholson and Geoff Rainbow 3 points ahead of Gary Grealy and Geoff Byron, but some records suggest these positions were reversed.
