The Blue Ribbon, sponsored by Maryborough Nissan and Nissan Finance and organised by the the Light Car Club of Australia, was held on 26 April. Director was John Fagan.
The event was based in Maryborough. Geoff Portman borrowed Peter Gale’s Datsun 1600 and they quickly established an unassailable lead. Brendan McCashney and Grant Waddington were second with Andrew & Philip Martin third.
