The Djerriwarrh, sponsored by Melton Toyota and organised by the Melton Motor Sports Club, was held on 1 November. It was directed by Noel Cutler.
Victorian Rally Championship Round 5
The winners were Geoff Portman and Peter Gale, for the second year running, which saw them also crowned 1986 Victorian champions. Second outright were Brendan McCashney and Grant Waddington which also gave them second in the championship. Third were Glen Cugley and Kayleen Slater.
The only other crew in contention for the championship were Andrew and Philip Martin but an “off” on special stage 8 saw the end of their title hopes.
