The Gold Rush Trial, organised by the Bendigo Car Club, was held on 8 May.
It was round three of both the Victorian Trials Series and Western Regions Trials Series. Both the VTS and WRTS components were won by Barry Farnell and Geoff Byron.
Grade B of the WRTS was won by Ross Green and Murray Rogers.
