Here we can see what happened during the 1994 Victorian Club Rally Series.

The outright winners were Brian Semmens and Dan Parry in a Toyota Corolla TE37. Winners of the novice series were Manfred Unger and Paul King in a Datsun 1600 1.8.

Series Regulations

These were specified in the VCRS Standing Regulations (not yet available).

Awards were made for outright champions and Novice. There were also car class awards as follows: 2WD up to 1300cc, 2WD 1301-1600cc, 2WD 1601-2000cc, 2WD over 2000cc and 4WD all capacities.

Outright and Novice points were allocated 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 for first to tenth. Bonus points were available (the + column), presumably for being an event organiser. Class points were allocated 9-6-4-3-2-1. With ten events, competitors counted their best eight results.

Overall Pointscores from 1994

See here for a table of points for outright, novice and classes published in 1994. The scores differ slightly from those above, in part due to apparent errors in the 1994 table in the round 9 scores and for competitors listed as “ineligible for points” in Unicar being included in the 1994 table. These differences don’t affect any of the major placings.
