The Commencement Rally, organised by the Melbourne University Car Club, was to be held on 20 April. This was a Novice event.
Despite 23 clubs being invited, only 5 entries were received, three from MUCC members, 1 from Cerberus Car Club and one (promised) from NCCA. Being insufficient to justify running a rally, the event was cancelled.
