The George Woods Rally, organised by the Peugeot Car Club of Victoria, was held on 10 February. The director was again Glad Fish, keen to bring new competitors into the sport via this “Introductory” novice rally.
The event included four components, an economy run, a concours d’elegance, a rally and an observed section trial. The overall winner was Victor de Koster on 379 points, with Paul Hogan second on 377 points and four people (Peter Cusworth, Helen Cusworth, Roger Lee & Jeff Lee) equal 3rd on 370 points.
