The Fletcher Packaging Pathfinder Trial, organised by the Historic Rally Association, was held on 12 October in the forests near Heathcote.

Peter Shearman, the navigator in car 17 (an Austin 1800 driven by Paul Nicholls), has provided much documentation for Rallypedia. For this event, his records say “Pulled front wheel stay out of rubber. Spent 1 hour plus repairing. Almost of of Late Time so cut & ran then returned direct to finish to avoid DNF”.
